<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">US partner NBC News, Mr Trump<\/a> was asked if there was any scenario in which he would seek a third term should he win the presidency next year, to which he responded: &#8220;No.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>And in April 2024 he said that he \u201cwouldn\u2019t be in favour\u201d of an extended term \u2013 but two comments he made this year, which are not even precise, fuel speculation that he could attempt it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The first was during the National Rifle Association event where he posed his question, whether he was three times or two times an elected president \u2013 this only seems to refer to his lies of being the rightful winner and that it was fraudulently taken from him in 2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Another came in July when he said at a conservative Christian gathering that the Americans wouldn\u2019t have to vote anymore should he clinch the 2024 presidency as per CBS News.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>After repeatedly telling them to vote &#8220;just this time&#8221;, he added: For four years, you do not have to vote again. We\u2019ll have it so fixed as you are not going to have to vote for it you know.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Trump_could_soon_rule_it_out\"><\/span><strong>Why Trump could soon rule it out<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I respect their belief\u2026It was being politically sidelined Some critics areoccurring from a Christian event from Mr.Trump\u2019s campaign John Fortier of the American Enterprise Institute said the comments made from the event were misconstrued and that Mr Trump was merely seeking to \u201cremind the sometimes apathetic Christian block to turn out and vote in this election\u201d.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Self-proclaimed negotiations wit and pounder extraordinaire Donald Trump lacks a constitutional right to run for President of the United States for the third time according to the 22nd Amendment.
