AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Preview

The begin of the 2023–2024 PGA Tour season will fall on the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, welcoming the best golfers to California.

The PGA Tour stopped its events right before Thanksgiving, ensuring a period of quiet for itself, but the DP World Tour did not announce any breaks and went on with tournaments until late December.

At the beginning of 2025, the PGA Tour began in Maui at the annual Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua. However, real followers of the sport wait for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before treating the tour as real. This popular event brings in many famous golfers, top ranked players and a few celebrities as well.

How Pebble Beach 2025 Will Conduct its Tournament

Because the tournament’s structure was altered last year, Monterey Peninsula Country Club is no longer part of the host course locations.

Golfers will play on both Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links this year. Players who are not pros play on Thursday and Friday, while the weekend rounds are open only for the professionals.

The tournament is presently counted as one of the most profitable events on the PGA Tour’s signature list. It will host 80 players, who are professionals as well as amateurs, competing with a partner. Teams will compete at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill on Thursday and Friday and the weekend will feature all action at Pebble Beach.

Winning the tournament will earn the champion 700 FedExCup points and a large prize of $3.6 million which highlights how important the event is.

All the details you should know about PGA Signature Events in 2025

All Signature Events are held using a qualification system that is just like the one used in 2024. All players who have participated in the Top 50 of the FedEx Cup in the past seasons will be able to compete in eight events such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Those ranked 51st to 60th on the 2024 FedEx Cup list are allowed to take part in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Winning players at any event and still lacking exemptions can play in subsequent events.

There will be only four sponsor-exemption invitations given per event in 2025. People who win more than 80 events on the PGA Tour will receive a unique sponsor exemption. So, Tiger Woods will be able to join any or all of these, but he has not confirmed participation in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am yet.
